Boost your focus with the Pomodoro Technique. Work in timed intervals, take structured breaks, and track your sessions.
Developed by Francesco Cirillo, the Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused intervals (typically 25 minutes) separated by short breaks (5 minutes). After completing 4 sessions, you take a longer break (15–30 minutes). This cycle helps maintain concentration and prevents mental fatigue.
It works by creating a sense of urgency (a running timer), making work feel manageable (small chunks), building in regular rest, and reducing the impact of distractions. Many people find it easier to commit to 25 minutes of focused work than to an open-ended task.
Yes. Click Settings to adjust focus duration (1–90 min), short break (1–30 min), long break (5–60 min), and the number of sessions before a long break. Changes take effect when you reset the current timer.
Yes. The timer continues running in the background. When a session ends, a sound alert plays and the browser tab title updates to notify you. Make sure your browser volume is on to hear the alert.
When enabled, the timer automatically starts the next phase (focus → break or break → focus) after each session ends, without requiring you to press the start button. This keeps the flow going if you prefer a fully automated cycle.
